Lynda Noble MacNeil

Lynda MacNeil is the creative force and founder of Gaelic Muses, grounding the group with evocative lead vocals and eclectic artistry on keyboard, harp, guitar, and melodica. She credits the real magic of Gaelic Muses to her creative partnership with Alison and Mike that transforms every performance into something extraordinary. Her greatest joy lies in sharing music and creating intimate, uplifting experiences that unite people through the enchantment of story and song.

Lynda’s path as a musician and educator began in Cheshire, Connecticut, before taking her to the University of Maryland, where she earned a BA in Music. She refined her craft through voice studies with Mickey McGuire at Catholic University and piano study with Jeffrey Chappell.

Lynda’s performance experience spans Gaelic Muses, Celtic Moon, Celtic Soul, and DC Express, a jazz vocal ensemble (founder, leader, vocals, arranger).  In Maryland she performed with the Baltimore Opera Chorus,  at notable dinner theaters, and in soloist roles at Grace United Methodist and at Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church with featured appearances on WBAL Radio.

As both entrepreneur and performer, Lynda launched several successful musical ventures including Noblemusic Enterprises in Maryland and Miss Lynda’s Music Lessons in California. Lynda continues to inspire students of all ages in voice, piano, music theory, and music appreciation.

Lynda’s heart as a musician and educator is matched by her commitment to bringing magic and meaning to every collaboration. She believes that the soul of Gaelic Muses is found in the shared spark between musicians and audience, where every song weaves together the group’s multi-faceted journeys and Celtic roots into a vibrant, living tradition.
