Gaelic Muses at the 160th Scottish Highland Gathering & Games

We’ll be bringing our Celtic folk‑rock energy, sing‑along choruses, and story‑driven songs to the stage six times over the weekend:

Saturday, September 5: 10 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM

Sunday, September 6: 11 AM, 2 PM, 4 PM

We’re thrilled to bring Gaelic Muses back to one of our favorite weekends of the year: California’s largest and longest-running Scottish Games, celebrating Scottish competition, culture, and community since 1866.

Hosted by the Caledonian Club of San Francisco, this milestone 160th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games will showcase the 2026 Men’s Scottish Heavy Athletics World Championships, plus the 50th annual U.S. Invitational Heavy Athletics Championships. Around the grounds, you’ll also find Highland dancing, piping and drumming, soccer, and sheepdog trials, so there’s always something happening.

All weekend long, the fairgrounds are filled with the sounds of Scottish folk music, Celtic rock, and Scottish country dancing, as well as living-history demonstrations, birds of prey, and Celtic animal exhibitions. Each day closes with the unforgettable Massed Bands, when hundreds of pipers and drummers join forces for a wall of sound you feel as much as you hear.
